Two minds, one passion. Discover the hearts and hands behind Tuisa.
Born into a family of traditional Newari metalworkers, Rajesh has been crafting jewelry since he was sixteen. His mastery lies in the ancient lost-wax casting technique, passed down through generations in the Kathmandu Valley.
With over 18 years of experience, Rajesh leads Tuisa's artisan workshop. His philosophy is simple yet profound: true luxury isn't about the weight of gold or the size of a stone—it's about the intention behind every curve, every setting, every detail.
"When I hold a finished piece, I want to feel the same excitement as the person who will wear it. That connection is what makes this craft sacred."
Anita's journey began with a fascination for gemology in Bangkok, where she studied the science and art of precious stones. Her designs blend contemporary elegance with the rich cultural heritage of Nepal, creating pieces that are both modern and timeless.
As Head of Design, Anita oversees every sketch, every prototype, and every final piece that leaves the atelier. Her eye for detail and understanding of what women truly want to wear has shaped Tuisa's distinctive aesthetic.
"I believe jewelry should empower. When a woman puts on a Tuisa piece, she should feel like the best version of herself. That's the magic we're creating."
We honor traditional techniques while embracing contemporary design, creating pieces that bridge past and future.
Great jewelry cannot be rushed. We invest time because every hour spent perfecting a detail shows in the final piece.
Every material we use is sourced responsibly. We believe luxury should never come at the cost of people or planet.
We don't just make jewelry for customers—we create heirlooms for families, marking life's most meaningful moments.
Rajesh and Anita met at a traditional craft exhibition in Patan, bonded by a shared vision to elevate Nepali jewelry to global standards.
The first atelier opens in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. The name "Tuisa" is chosen, meaning "radiance" and "essence" in ancient Nepali.
Tuisa's bridal collection is featured in a regional luxury magazine, putting Nepali craftsmanship on the international map.
Expanding the bespoke service, launching the heritage collection, and continuing to prove that world-class luxury is crafted in Nepal.
"We started Tuisa with a simple belief: that jewelry should be more than an accessory. It should be a memory you can wear, a story you can share, and a legacy you can pass down. Every piece that leaves our atelier carries this promise—of beauty, of integrity, of forever."
